One of my least favorite questions is “What’s for dinner?” and I know we hear that question daily! I have tried every kind of menu plan there is, but the hardest part is picking what to eat and getting to the grocery store to pick up everything. That’s when I found an amazing solution and this summer it got even better!
I’ve been using eMeals for a few years now. eMeals has a variety of menus to choose from based on diet, budget, or even stores you shop at and focus on those sales items. I chose the Quick and Healthy menu for my family- we tend to pick 5 of the 7 from that menu to have some nights open for leftovers, date nights, etc. that come up during the week. We also have picky eaters so I avoid any fish meals or anything with a lot of tomatoes.
Here are some of the menu plan options available (images taken using the eMeals app):
Now instead of planning individual nights, your hardest part will be picking which of the yummy menus to make that week. You can “star” your favorite meals to save them for another time. Most menus have an option for 2 people or 4-6 people. Some of the grocery store partners are Aldi, Kroger, Publix and Whole Foods.
Try it free for 2 weeks! Let me know what menus look the most appetizing to you and your family! Then you will have a 3 month subscription option for $29.99 or 12 month option for $59.99. You can also add on lunch, breakfast, dessert or special occasion menus as well. The possibilities are endless because you can change your menu option at any time!
But here’s where it got even more amazing!
One of the lastest updates on the eMeals app connected the FULL menu over to the Walmart Grocery app! It sends the full list of items over and you select what needs to be added to the cart or skip items you already have in your pantry. I know Kroger is also an option in some areas now too.
Save $10 on your first Walmart Grocery order of $50 or more! There isn’t a fee, but they require a $30 minimum purchase. My orders average about $100 for 5 meals for our family of 6! That’s $20 per meal and less than $3.50 per person. I can also add on some of our other staples when needed as well and avoid having to run in the store. Sometimes there are substitutions or missing items. They will put a similar item or upgrade when a substitution is necessary. For out of stock items I was able to pick up at another grocery store on the way home, I’d rather run in for a couple things than go in for a list of 30-40 items.
Our local Kroger partner, Smith’s isn’t available yet for pick up but the app will have you enter your zip code to see if it works for your area. Your first 3 ClickList orders are free and then there’s a fee added on after that which varies by region.
