Planning a visit to the Disney theme parks? Enhance your adventure with the new Lightning Lane passes and Disney PhotoPass services, available starting July 24, 2024. Here’s how to make the most of your park experience:

Lightning Lane Passes Overview

Disney’s new Lightning Lane system will replace the former Disney Genie+ service and individual Lightning Lane entries, streamlining your park visit and offering a faster way to enjoy top attractions.

Lightning Lane Multi Pass

• Enjoy Multiple Experiences: Select up to three attractions and arrival windows per park. After using your first Multi Pass attraction, you can choose another, subject to availability.
• Photo Perks: Receive digital downloads of select attraction photos and videos with Disney PhotoPass Service and access Disney PhotoPass Lenses. Learn more about Disney PhotoPass Terms and Conditions.

Lightning Lane Single Pass

Ride Top Attractions: Save time with a Lightning Lane Single Pass for high-demand attractions not covered by the Multi Pass. Purchase up to two single passes per day, subject to availability.

Single Pass Attractions (Not Available with Multi Pass)

• Magic Kingdom Park: Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, TRON Lightcycle / Run
• EPCOT: Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind
• Disney’s Hollywood Studios: Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance

Important Details

• Prices: Costs vary by date and theme park; view prices starting July 24 in the My Disney Experience app.
• Pass Inclusion: A Multi Pass does not include access to Single Pass attractions; each requires separate purchase.
• Purchasing: You can buy both Multi and Single Passes for the same day, but they must be purchased separately.
• Standby Lines: Standby lines remain an option for all attractions.

Using Your Lightning Lane Passes

• Same-Day Use: Use a Multi Pass and Single Pass on the same day.
• Redemption: Scan your pass at the attraction entrance to redeem.
• Selection Time: Choose a new attraction after using a Multi Pass, based on availability. Different selections can be made for various members of your party.
• Park Hopping: If visiting multiple parks in one day, make Multi Pass selections for each park.

Managing Your Selections

• View and Modify: Manage your selections through the My Disney Experience app.
• Reservation Changes: Modifying or canceling your Resort hotel reservation may affect your Lightning Lane Multi Pass.

Photopass

Capture and link your attraction photos and videos with these tips:

Using MagicBand or MagicBand+

• Automatic Upload: Photos and videos will upload automatically if your MagicBand or MagicBand+ is linked to your account. Ensure it’s set up and charged.

Using Your Mobile Device

• iOS Devices: Sign in to the My Disney Experience app, enable Bluetooth, and keep your device with you.
• Android Devices: Sign in to the app, enable Location Permissions, turn off Power Saver Mode, and keep your device with you.
• Note: Smartwatches cannot link automatically. For TRON Lightcycle / Run, keep your device in the attraction’s compartment.
