I decided to try out a few different green St. Patrick’s Day green eyeshadow looks, one using Splurge cream eye shadow and another with Moodstruck mineral pigment loose powder. St. Patrick’s Day is one of my favorite holidays, mostly because it means my birthday is close, but it’s a good holiday that goes back to my family’s roots.
Moodstruck mineral pigment powders are one of the most versatile products. You can use it to color nail polish, do color streaks in your hair and they have more than one sheen depending on how you apply them- dry, wet with water on the brush or wet with Rose water (my favorite look). Younique has 16 shimmer and 16 matte eye shadow pigments. The green eyeshadow shimmer colors are Dignified and Empowered. The matte colors are Famous and Crushed.
Splurge cream eye shadow goes on cream but dries to a powder. This helps avoid any creasing. These colors are gorgeous and a great base for any other products you apply over it. There are 13 shimmer cream shadows and 6 matte cream shadows. There is a shimmer seafoam green Charming and shimmer forest green called Assertive.
St. Patrick’s Day Eyeshadow Looks
- Always start with an eye primer
- Use a dark color to create a sideways V on the outside of your lid
- Next, Use a medium tone on the main part of your lid
- Then, Use a light tone on the inner corner and highlight under your brow
- Blend with a circular motion so you don’t have harsh lines
Products can be purchased in Sets (Set of 4 eye shadow pigments or Set of 3 cream eye shadows) to save!
You can also try adding a pop of green with our green eye liner pencil and liquid eyeliner, both in the color Prosperous!
