Younique Pay Plan with new Status and Sales Titles

Since I just returned home from Younique’s 9th Convention in Phoenix, Arizona, I wanted to get all the information I could on the changes that have been happening this year. A big one is the new Younique Pay Plan– which has added two new status levels: Coral (between Yellow and Pink) and Teal (between Blue and Green).

Update: March 2023 – Sales and Status Titles

As explained in the Virtual Vision Summit held on March 20, 2023; we are no longer known as Presenters but as Brand Ambassadors. This is in line with more of a social selling strategy that this pay plan was built on and professional recognition for resumes for those outside of Younique. Lifetime sales are also a part of earning toward your ranks and summits/trips. As of today through June 2023- past Younique presenters, and now Brand Ambassadors can rejoin to get their lifetime sales credited by using the email from their previous account!

But this is where the Sales Titles come in. Affiliates can focus solely on sales, with no non-compete policies, and get the same 20-40% pay structure as a Brand Ambassador (more below). Lifetime PRS helps count toward summits, experiences, and recognitions now as well as monthly consistent sales titles. They are also able to qualify for trips/incentives and other recognition and rewards as shown below:

These Sales Titles are in addition to the Brand Ambassador status titles and are also part of the Affiliate Pathway. *Update as of June 2023: The Gold Elite status is where you can start earning incentives such as Younified and other recognitions.*

Retail Royalties aka commissions – up to 40%

First things first. let’s talk about the change in the Retail Royalties (commissions on products sold). This is no longer tied to your paid as status level, but the amount you sell. Everyone is paid 20% on the products they sell from the 1st to the end of the month. Then when the month closes, you get a bonus based on the volume sold (this is in USD):

$500-999 gets a 5% bonus or 25% overall
$1000-2499 gets a 10% bonus or 30% overall, this used to only be for those earning Green/Brand Director status and above.
$2500-4999 get a 15% bonus or 35%
$5000 and above gets a 20% bonus or 40%

Fast start first-level royalties and bonuses

This is a new category to the Younique Pay Plan where you are rewarded for helping your directly sponsored Brand Ambassadors for the 3 months since joining Younique. They are also incentivized with bonuses for getting moving and building their business in those vital first 90 days. Yellow/Qualified Brand Ambassador status can even take advantage of this and help their new team members get started. This ranges between 5-20% of what the first-level team members have done for the month.

New status levels and circle Royalties

Coral/Brand Specialist and Teal/Senior Brand Manager are two new status levels. Brand Specialist starts with $250 personal sales, $1000 company wholesale (75% of overall), and 1 active brand ambassador ($125 by one downline) to qualify for Circle Royalties. This status is before Pink/Senior Brand Specialist, which used to be the first status to receive circle royalties, so this is a great way to let your team see some results in growing their teams. This royalty ranges from 3-5% of the overall circle- which is everyone on your team until someone reaches Brand Director status or above. We’ll talk about them more in Generation Royalties.

Paid-as bonus and advancement bonus

Removed from the former Younique Pay Plan were some of the more elite incentives like the car bonus and spread it out among more status levels when they advance to new status levels and get paid as that status. This starts at Senior Brand Specialist, which is the cornerstone status at Younique. Once you hit senior brand specialist, you can see the effects of growing and teaching others to do the same.

For example with Senior Brand Specialist: Advancement bonus is $100, Paid-as bonus is $50 but if you do this in your first 90 days, it doubles your bonus (and doable!).

You only get one Paid-as bonus, but if you double promote, you can stack Advancement bonuses! If you go from Brand Specialist to Blue/Brand Manager, you will get both the Senior Brand Specialist and Brand Manager Advancement Bonus!

When you reach a new Pay Plan title for the first time, you will receive a Coupon for a Free Item in your account based on the title you have earned:

Brand Executive and Platinum and above Rewards

When you reach a new Pay Plan title of Brand Executive and above or Sales title at Platinum and above, you will also receive a reward with options you can pick from with your Account Manager:

Generation royalties

Generation Royalties as I mentioned earlier, are for those who have “grown up” and built their own teams- they branch off from your Circle, but now they are your First Generation, which is a 5% royalty, as they are still working closely with you. Once someone else in that first generation hits Brand Director (former Green status) or above, they become your 2nd Generation for a 4% royalty. 3rd generation is 3%, 4th generation is 2% and 5th generation is 1% when you are at a certain status level. It starts with Brand Director and goes up from there: Orange/Senior Brand Director, Purple/Brand Vice President, Black/Brand Executive, and Black status level 1/Presidential Brand Executive, Black status level 2/Global Brand Executive and Black status level 3/Chief Brand Executive.
