Take the Stress Out of Dinner Planning with eMeals
One of my least favorite questions is, “What’s for dinner?” and I know we hear that question daily! I’ve tried every kind of menu plan, but the hardest part is deciding what to eat and getting to the grocery store to pick up everything. That’s when I found an amazing solution—and this summer, it got even better!
I’ve been using eMeals for a few years now. eMeals offers a variety of menus to choose from based on diet, budget, or even the stores you shop at, focusing on sales items. I chose the Quick and Healthy menu for my family. We usually pick five out of the seven options to leave some nights open for leftovers, date nights, and other plans that come up during the week. We also have picky eaters, so I avoid fish meals or anything with a lot of tomatoes.
Instead of planning individual nights, the hardest part now is choosing which of the yummy menus to make each week. You can “star” your favorite meals to save them for another time. Most menus have an option for 2 people or 4-6 people. Some of the grocery store partners include Aldi, Kroger, Publix, and Whole Foods.
Current menu options
- Budget Friendly
- 30 Minute
- Clean Eating
- Keto
- Quick and Healthy – my favorite!
- Kid Friendly
- Slow Cooker
- Heart Healthy
- Low Calorie
- Low Carb
- Paleo
- Diabetic
- Gluten Free
- Mediterranean
- Plant Based
You can also choose by ingredient, and top favorites from the week from other users. One of the options also includes a place to add your own recipes.
Each meal includes a main dish and a side dish. They have a drink pairing for most but you can remove that from your shopping cart if you aren’t wanting to include that. You’ll see holiday collections, and dessert ideas as well.
Try it free for 2 weeks! Let me know which menus look the most appetizing to you and your family. After the trial, you can choose a 3-month subscription for $29.99 or a 12-month subscription for $59.99. You can also add on lunch, breakfast, dessert, or special occasion menus. The possibilities are endless because you can change your menu option at any time!
New Features Make It Even Better!
One of the latest updates on the eMeals app connects the full shopping list to the Walmart Grocery app! It sends the full list of items over, and you can select what to add to your cart or skip items you already have in your pantry. Kroger is also an option in some areas now.
Save $10 on your first Walmart Grocery order of $50 or more! There isn’t a fee, but they require a $30 minimum purchase. My orders average about $100 for 5 meals for our family of 6! That’s $20 per meal and less than $3.50 per person. I can also add other staples when needed and avoid having to run into the store. Sometimes there are substitutions or missing items. They will provide a similar item or upgrade when a substitution is necessary. For out-of-stock items, I can pick them up at another grocery store on the way home. I’d rather run in for a couple of things than go in for a list of 30-40 items.
You’ll want to add a few items to your menu and then go to the shopping area, add your zip code, and see which delivery options you have. You can also opt to pick it up.
