When you go to Disneyland, there are so many rides, shows and characters to meet- you will have so much to do! If you have a little ones, they will probably want to meet a Disney princess- especially if they have a favorite! Make sure to grab one of the maps and times guides at the entrance. These are good for about a week at a time so you will know what parades, shows and events are going on. They will also tell you where and when to meet your favorite characters.
Tips to meet a Disneyland princess!
- Head to the new Fantasy Faire near Sleeping Beauty’s Castle and head to Royal Hall- here is where the princesses will meet you in royal style!
- Have your princess wear the gown of her favorite princess. Characters pay special attention and treat them as that princess, and if she is seen by that particular princess she will love meeting them.
- You could also set up an appointment at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique to be made up even more like a princess before going to meet them!
- Keep your eyes open, you’ll never know who you will see wandering around the park!
Do you or your little one have a favorite princess? If you have boys like I do, the princesses love to give special attention to those “princes”. We’ve done the Ariel’s Grotto (no longer open as a character meal) and Goofy’s Kitchen dining and they’re extra attentive to my boys! Alice was my oldest boy’s favorite since she even pretended to remember us from a previous trip!
New princess dining option opening end of March 2019: Napa Rose Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures at the Napa Rose restaurant in the Grand Californian Hotel and Spa! This includes a 3 course meal, activities, story time, portrait and a keepsake! Make sure to set up your reservations 60 days in advance!
